Huntington Beach, Calif. – The Golden West Rustlers earned their second win of the season by way of shutout 13-0 against LA Pierce. (1-2)
The Rustlers (2-4) were ready to swing their bats early and often as they cruised to victory. A trio of Rustler hitters had a multi-hit game, Julia Morey went 2 for 3 with an RBI and 3 runs scored, Bianca Espinoza also went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI's, 1 run scored, and Domonique Romero went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's
Pitching for Golden West, Alicia Aldana (2-0) earned her second win of the season throwing a complete game 1 hit shutout while striking out 7.
Next: The Rustlers will travel to Fullerton College on February 17 for a 3pm start.
