Huntington Beach, Calif. – The Rustler softball team (3-9, 1-4) earned their first conference win of the season beating Riverside CC (5-6, 1-4) in a five inning 11-3 mercy rule victory.

The heart of Golden West's batting order were swinging red hot bats as they all recorded multiple hits and recorded at least 1 RBI. Domonique Romero went 2 for 4 with a double, 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored, Bianca Espinoza went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's, and a run scored, Taylor Clinkaberry went 2 for 3 with an RBI, and a run scored, and Alanna Torres went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI's and a run scored. The Rustler offense hammered out 12 hits on the day, most in a game this season.

The Rustler's starting pitcher Adriana Barrera earned her first win of the season throwing all 5 innings giving up 9 hits, while striking out 4 Tigers and only surrendering 3 runs.
