Softball: Wins as they Honor Watson and Davis on Sophomore Day

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Sophomores Janelle Watson and Rheanna Davis certainly proved why they were honored before todays game day as they each recorded multi-hit games while driving in runs to help Golden West earn a victory of College of the Desert, 13-10. 

Davis and Watson combined to go five for seven at the plate while driving in a combined four runs and scoring twice themselves. Every offense player for the Rustlers tallied a hit and seven batter's recorded a multi-hit game as they racked up 13 runs on 18 hits as a team. Davis and freshman starting pitcher Jennifer Hartman led the team with three hits apiece. 

Hartman also earned her first win pitching this season as she threw a complete game seven innings, surrendering 10 runs on 10 hits, while striking out four and walking four.
