Softball: Honors Seven Sophomores in Final 'Home' Game

Huntington Beach, Calif. - The 'roaming Rustlers' honored their seven sophomores this afternoon in their final 'home' game of the season held at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex since their new field is finished being built. 

Golden West fell in today's matchup with Cypress College 10-0 as the Chargers used a seven run third inning to take control of the game. The Rustlers didn't get their first baserunner till the fourth inning when Kendall Kallsen smacked a line drive to center field. Ashley Boss would reach base in the bottom of the fifth inning for Golden West's second baserunner of the game but she would ultimately be stranded on first. 

Coach Morrison honored her sophomores in a pregame ceremony with sunflowers as the ladies were honored along with their family. The seven honored sophmores were Alyssa Aragon, Angelica Garcia, Jenna Terrones, Jennifer Eberhardt, Cami Cohen, Jennifer Hartman, and Isabella Ramirez

Golden West will wrap up their 2019 campiagn on Wednesday April 24th when they travel to Santa Ana for a 3pm first pitch.
