Rustler Soccer starts season with a win over Grossmont College. The only goal of the day was scored on the 35th minute of the first half when Freshman Jessica Fisher (assisted by Candice Holt) broke past Grossmont College's defense and put up the first stat of the 2011 season.

GWC outshot the Griffin's 13 to 6 and Freshman goal keeper for GWC Miljana Josic had 5 key saves. Captains Rosemarie Orlando and Katy Swart were also vital in the Rustlers first pre-season victory.
