Golden West's women's soccer team took to the field on Aug. 28th against Miramar college with a game ending score of Miramar 3, Golden West 1.
Jennifer Munoz (Costa Mesa, CA/Newport Harbor HS) scored from the top of the box for the rustlers with an assist from Candice Holt (Garden Grove, CA/Rancho Los Alamitos HS).
In the net, Olivia Bedard (Long Beach, CA/Millikan HS) started the game and had 1 save in the first half. Miljana Jocic (Long Beach, CA/Millikan HS) came in for the second half and kept the Jets score at 3 with a total of 5 saves.
Golden West women's soccer's next game is at home on Aug 30th at 3:00pm vs. the Canyons.
