Huntington Beach, Calif. - Women's soccer took down Saddleback in a 2-1 victory at home over the south county team. 

In the first half, Golden West totaled three shots on the Gauchos goal, but nothing resulted in scoring. Coming back from half time,  Megan Finny netted the first goal for the Rustlers and for her season with an assist from Kelsea Arenado.

Ten minutes later, Daisy Gallegos scored the second goal for the Rustlers, again with the assist from Arenado. Gallegos finished the game with a total of three shots on goal and added to her season total of five goals in just 8 games. 

Doing her best to keep Saddleback out of the net was goalkeeper Claudia Villegas who put up 3 saves and 1 goal against in the team's fifth conference match up. 

Next: The women will travel to Fullerton on Friday, October 2nd for a 3:00pm game.
