Huntington Beach, Calif. – Golden West College (1-1-1) tied Orange Empire Conference foe Santa Ana College (4-1-1) 0-0 to open up conference play. 

The Rustlers freshman goalkeeper Brooke Riddle recorded her first shutout of the season as she stopped three attempts from finding the back of the net. Her defense worked hard all afternoon clearing balls and limiting the looks for the Dons. 

The Golden West offense just couldn't get much going against Santa Ana's stingy defense as they managed only three shots on goal and two corner kicks over the course of 90 minutes.
