Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West (1-0-1) women's soccer tied Palomar College (0-2-1) 0-0 Tuesday afternoon.

The offense struggled to put the ball between the pipes as the game didn't end in a tie for lack of opportunities as the Rustler's were able to fire off 14 shots. Early in the the second half Golden West put a great header in the net but the goal was nullified as they were called offsides.

Taylor Vanis earned her second consecutive shutout on the season as she had five saves over the course of the match. 

Next: The Rustlers will go on the road and play Long Beach City College Friday September 8th at 2pm.
