Huntington Beach, Calif. - From begining to end, Golden West was in control of this match as they shut out visiting Irvine Valley 3-0. 

The Rustlers attack out shot the Lasers 12-6 on the afternoon and scoreboard proved that with the 3-0 win as forward Kennedy Chavez put Golden West on the scoreboard in the first half for a 1-0 lead. It was in the opening minute of the second half that the Rustlers would stike again when Alyssa Serrano found the back of the goal on a perfectly place cross pass for the assist from LaNell Swain. 

Kady DeGuzman added the extra insurance goal in the 79th minute on another perfectly timed cross pass from Jessee Nelson.

Golden West will travel to Santa Ana College on Friday, October 8th for a 3pm kickoff.
