
Huntington Beach, Calif. - The LA Harbor soccer team came to town to take on Golden West, the Rustlers pulled out a 3-2 victory in their first home game of the season.
In the first half, LA Harbor took an early lead with a goal at the 8-minute mark. However, Golden West quickly equalized with a goal from Mollie Miskelly, assisted by Jocelyn Pacheco, at the 25-minute mark.
In the second half, Golden West took control of the game with two goals. Alexandra Torres scored at the 55-minute mark, assisted by Abby Kirby. Kirby then scored an unassisted goal at the 59-minute mark, extending Golden West's lead to 3-1.
LA Harbor fought back in the closing minutes of the game, scoring a goal to bring the score to 3-2. However, they were unable to find an equalizer before the final whistle.
In terms of shots, Golden West had a total of nine shots, with five shots on goal. Golden West's goalkeeper, Chloe Miller, made 6 saves throughout the game.
