
Riverside, Calif. - The Golden West College women's swim team continued its competitive season with a strong showing at the Orange Empire Conference Meet #2, scoring 221 points with four personal bests among their 18 entries. The Rustlers maintained their momentum, highlighted by three top-three finishes and consistent improvements across multiple events.
Zoe Esquivel led the team with 40 individual points, earning a bronze medal in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:02.78. She also secured a 5th-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:20.94) and a 7th-place finish in the 200-yard IM (2:37.94), continuing to be a key all-around performer for the Rustlers.
Right behind her, Hanna Menyhart contributed 36 points, placing 4th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:29.72), 7th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:10.37), and 9th in the 200-yard IM (2:38.46). Menyhart's steady backstroke times continue to be a strong asset for the team.
The Rustlers also saw bronze medal finishes from Monet Panter (100-yard fly, 1:27.20) and Catherine Le (100-yard breaststroke, 1:25.30), adding crucial points to the team total.

Nathalia Johnston swam a season-best in the 100-yard IM (1:20.52, 11th place) and took 8th in the 400-yard IM (6:11.99).

Golden West finished with an average performance score of 284.6, showcasing continued growth as they prepare for the final regular season meet at Riverside City College on April 4, 2025.
