Costa Mesa, Calif. - The preliminaries of the 2015 Orange Empire Conference Championships were held under sunny skies at Orange Coast College's Track & Field.

Overall, nine of the prelim events were claimed by Riverside as the Tigers won the women's 1000 meter run, the women's long jump, the women's pole vault, the women's shot put, the women's Steeplechase, the  men's 100 meter dash, the men's 400 meter hurdles, the men's Steeplechase and the men's shot put.

Saddleback College won the women's hammer throw, the men's hammer throw, the men's long jump and the men's 1000 meter run. Golden West College won the women's hurdles while Orange Coast College won the men's 110 meter hurdles and the men's pole vault to round out the other prelims ran.

The Orange Empire Conference finals will be settled next Friday, April 24, again at Orange Coast College.
