Fullerton, Calif. - The Ben Brown Invitational showcased strong performances for Golden West on a weekend that the weather proved pesky.

On the men's side, the 4x100m relay of Ronale Hargo, Charles Leaphart, JuWain Roper, and Xaviar Smith finished in 44.40, which currently ranks them #2 in the Orange Empire Conference. The freshman Roper ran a blazing lead off leg for the team and also bettered his time in the 200m to 24.67.

The women's side was highlighted by Jaelani Davalos in the pole vault and her jump of 10'0 continues to lead the OEC.
