Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West College is hosting the 2022 Orange Empire Conference prelims and championships over a two day event on April 22 and April 29. 

For the Ruslters in 100m Amara Muhammad (12.56) finished third and Ashley Tran (13.55) good for a ninth place finish. Then in the 200m Muhammad (25.63) would finish fourth just .9 seconds from landing in the top three. In the 800m Alejandra Suarez finished in 2:41 and she will also compete in the 1500m and 5000m next Friday 4/29 along with Kirra Salazar (1500m), and Ra'Eesah Harris in the 400m hurdles. 

Emily Nguyen qualified for the SoCal Regionals by placing fourth in the javelin (29.14m) and second in the long jump with a 5.10 mark. Nguyen will compete in the triple jump next Friday in the finals.
