Torrance, Calif. - Freshmen Kendall Davis won the high jump event at the Dave Shannon Invite on Saturday hosted by El Camino College at Murdock Stadium and the throws field. 

Her jump of 1.50m ranks second in the Orange Empire Conference, only behind teammate Emily Nguyen. Nguyen also leads in the heptathlon and competes in the SoCal Regional Championship Tuesday, April 4 at Saddleback.

Another Rustler leading the conference in the 1500m, 3000m, and 5000m distance events is Marikay Schwab.
