Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West's women's volleyball faced off against Long Beach City Wednesday, Sept. 26; in their final non-conference match of the season. Long Beach won the first game, but the Rustlers would command the rest of the sets with a final match score of 3-1 (20-25, 25-17, 27-25, 25-12).

Leading for the Rustlers in kills were Bethanee Boggs (Cathedral City, CA) and Alyssa Hubbard (Redlands, CA/Redlands HS), both with an impressive 14 kills for the match. Alicia Utke (Cypress, CA/Los Alamitos) served 3 aces during the match and Jade Gray (Boise, ID/Borah HS) finished the game with a notable 41 assists.

The Rustlers will head to Irvine Valley on Sept. 28th for their first game in conference play.
