Mission Viejo, Calif. - The Rustlers defeated Saddleback 3-1 dispite being down early in all four sets.  The win for the Rustlers improved their record to 11-2 while the Gauchos fell to 2-11 overall.

Set scores for the match were: 25-10, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Golden West commanded the first set, only allowing 10 points for Saddleback. 

The Rustlers then held a 14-6 lead in the second set, but couldn't hold the lead for long. The Gauchos responded with a 10-2 run to tie score 16-16.  Saddleback stayed 2 points ahead of the Rustlers and took the second match.

The score in set #3 stayed close, until Rustlers went on a 7-0 run, thanks to consistent serving from Alyssa Hubbard (Redlands, CA/Redlands HS), taking the lead 22-18. The Gauchos would get within 2 points (24-22) before Golden West earned set point. 

Golden West allowed Saddleback to get within 5 points in the last set, but pulled away with a 6-1 run. Saelina Dunn (Long Beach, CA/Wilson HS) came off the bench in the last set to deliver some key kills to give the Rustlers the match. 

Bethanee Boggs (Cathedral City, CA) led the Ruslters with 20 kills and 4 solo blocks.
