Costa Mesa, Calif. - Currently ranked No. 3 in the state, Golden West (9-0, 3-0) maintains their winning streak, after defeating Orange Coast (6-2, 1-2) on the Pirates' floor in 4 sets (25-17, 20-25, 25-21, 25-22). 

Leading for the Rustlers was power-house freshman, Jordyn Sanchez with 17 kills, 3 aces and 19 digs, she even chipped in an assist over the 4 match set. Drucilla Gauta put up 3 solo blocks and delivered 16 kills over the Pirates' net. Setting Golden West up for success was Taylor Packer with 23 set assists and Janessa Brown with 22 of her own.
