Huntington Beach, Calif. -  In the first round of the CCCAA playoffs, the No. 5 Golden West women's volleyball swept Moorpark College in a quick 3-0 victory (21-11, 25-11, 25-21).The Rustlers made quick work for the visiting Raiders, who had a rough ride to Golden West due to holiday traffic. 

Leading Golden West were Outside hitter Gabi Nguyen, who pounded 14 kills and Ashley Pettibone, who had eight kills of her own and a team-high of 12 digs. Daisy Gonzalez contributed nine kills and three blocks for the Rustlers win along with All-Region libero Kelynn Mullally adding eight digs. 

Next: The women will head to El Camino for round 2 on November 29th, 2014.
