Huntington Beach, Calif.- Golden West opened their first women's volleyball match of the 2015-16 season with a sweep over San Diego City College. The Rustlers (1-0) took down the visitors narrowly with 25-20,25-20, 25-14 set scores.

In the first set, Golden West conquered with a 25-20 win.  Sophomore Marina Adolpho scored the first and last points of the set for the Rustlers. 

In the second set, the Rustlers started the match down by one point, but then Adolpho came back by scoring the second point of the match and ended the set with another win at 25-20.

In the third set, Golden West came out strong and took the 24-14 win over the Knights to finish the match with the first win of the 2015 season.
