W Volleyball: Swept in Season Finale on Sophomore Night

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Sophomores Holly Hennessy and Nikol Powers were honored last night in Golden West's season finale. The Rustlers drop three straight sets to Fullerton 25-16, 25-22, 25-21. 

Powers, a second team All-OEC selection this season finished with 94 kills and 47 blocks as an opposite. Powers would go on to finish the night with 4 kills, 5 blocks, and a block solo to finish her career at Golden West.

Hennessy an outside hitter, finished second on the team with 123 kills and 137 digs. To no surprise, Hennessy led the Rustlers with 10 kills and 15 digs against Fullerton. 

Freshman Madison Holmes competed as well as she could to finish with 9 kills and 15 digs in the loss. Libero Mia Lara led the Rustlers with 13 assists.
