Huntington Beach, Calif. — Golden West College is proud to announce that two standout players from its women's volleyball team have been honored with selections to the All-Orange Empire Conference Team. Jenna Zaffino earned a spot on the prestigious First Team, while Hayden Johnston received Second Team honors, a testament to their exceptional performances throughout the season.

Jenna Zaffino – First Team Selection

Freshman Jenna Zaffino, an outside hitter, led the Rustlers with an impressive 3.13 kills per set, totaling 216 kills across the season. Known for her versatility and high-impact play, Zaffino contributed not only offensively but also defensively, recording 136 digs and adding 26 service aces. Her consistency and ability to rise in clutch moments made her an invaluable asset to the team.

Hayden Johnston – Second Team Selection

Sophomore Hayden Johnston, an opposite hitter, brought power and stability to the Rustlers' lineup. She tallied 156 kills with an average of 2.20 kills per set, while showcasing her defensive prowess with 194 digs and 37 total blocks. Johnston's all-around game and leadership were key factors in Golden West's success this season.
