Rustlers fall to Tigers in OT

Golden West Women's Water Polo fall to Riverside at OEC Championships.  Riverside secures the No. 1 seed for the SoCal Tournament while the Rustlers take the No. 2 seed going into the Regional Playoffs that start on November 11th.

The Rustlers relied heavily on Freshman Kellie Guerin who was able to net three goals against the Tiger's defense.  Sophomore Caitlin Gilmartin and freshman Brooke Roy each added a goal as Golden West suffered a 5-6 loss in overtime.

Taylor Morton had 10 saves, 3 of which occurred late in the fourth stopping Riverside's offensive attack and forcing overtime.

The Rustlers receive a 1st round bye and will face the winner of Chaffey / SD Mesa on November 11th at 5:45pm in Riverside.
