Cypress, Calif. - The Lady Rustlers defeated the Cypress Chargers 15-4 in their first conference game of the 2012 season.

The Rustlers had good offensive movement drawing six ejections and solid defensive work throughout the game.  Melissa Bergesen (West Jordan, UT / Kearns HS) led the team with six goals, Ellen Hayami (Huntington Beach, CA / Huntington Beach HS) had three, and Kellie Guerin (Los Alamitos, CA / Los Alamitos) and Sierra Payne (La Habra, CA / Sonora HS) each had two apiece. Tina Navarro and Ally Loveless also found the back of the net for the Rustlers

Goalies Taylor Morton (Santa Ana, Ca / Villa Park HS) and MacKenzie Bonk (River Forest, IL / Fenwick) both had solid performances in the goal for the Rustlers.

Golden West is back in action when they host Fullerton College at home (at 4:00pm) for their second conference contest.
