Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Lady Rustlers defeated the Fullerton Hornets in a 16-10 conference match on Wednesday, Sept. 19th.

The Rustlers were led by Tina Navarro (Orange, CA./Villa Park HS) with 5 goals and freshman Melissa Bergesen (West Jordan, UT/Kearns HS) added 3 goals of her own. Team members Kelly Guerin and Megan Millan put up 2 goals each during the game. Sierra Payne, Brooke Roy, Ellen Hayami, and Kayla Crocco each contributed 1 goal.

Goalie Mackenzie Bonk (River Forest, IL/Fenwick HS) had an impressive performance and she played the entire game for the Rustlers notching 8 saves.

Next, the ladies will travel to Cuesta College Sept 28th -29th for a tournament.
