Huntington Beach, Calif. – The No. 1 Golden West women's water polo hosted American River College in a non-conference game on Thursday afternoon, topping NorCal rival 15-7.  The Rustlers improve to 15-0 with the win.

Golden West's Melissa Bergesen (West Jordan, UT/Kearns HS) and Alexandria Loveless (Long Beach, CA/Wilson HS), both scored 4 goals for the Rustlers.  Sophomore, Alison Livingston led the American River with five. 

The Rustlers also hosted SET water polo club later on that evening.  Golden West defeated SET 13-10.  Loveless led the Rustlers in scoring, with 4 goals. 

Golden West set to compete in the Long Beach Tournament this Friday and Saturday.
On Friday the Rustlers will play at LBCC, and on Saturday all games will be held at Cypress College.
