Huntington Beach, Calif. - Women's Water Polo at Golden West started their conference season with an impressive 26-2 victory over Cypress College.

The Rustlers (6-0, 1-0) found the net soon into the first minutes of game play and quickly made 16 goals before the end of the half, to the Chargers (1-3, 0-1) 1 goal. Cypress was able to get their second goal in against the Rustlers' defense at the beginning of the last quarter.

Keeping the Chargers out of the net was possible thanks to the hard work of Mackenzie Bonk in the goal. Leading in scoring for Golden West was freshman center Brigitta Games, tallying 7 goals and sophomore Alexandria Loveless put up 5 of her own. 

Next the women jump in the water at Citrus College for a 1 day tournament Friday, September 20th.
