Fullerton, Calif. - Women's Water Polo continues to march through their undefeated season, and this time they took the sting out of the Fullerton Hornets. Golden West (14-0, 3-0) overpowered the previously 14-0 Fullerton (15-1, 3-1) in a 16-2 victory.

Golden West opened the game with 10 unanswered goals in the first half. Fullerton would not get on the scoreboard again until the final minutes of the fourth quarter. 

Sophomore Melissa Bergesen; always working hard in the water for Golden West, scored 4 goals for her team. Keeping the Hornets out of the net was Mackenzie Bonk, who put up an impressive 12 saves.

The Rustlers are back in their home water on Wednesday for a conference game against Saddleback at 3:00pm. Then, at 7:30pm, the team will host Long Beach.
