Huntington Beach, Calif. – Golden West (11-0, 2-0) continues its torrid start under first year head coach Matt Flesher as it handed Fullerton College (4-1, 0-1) thier first loss of the season (9-6).
Riley Beemer and Josie Miller set the tone for the Rustlers offensively has they recorded three goals respectively. In a tight match, the defense showed its prowess down the stretch holding the Hornets to three second half goals. Goalie Kailyn Zwaagstra saved seven of her 13 opportunities to ensure the victory.
NEXT: The Rustlers will travel to play in the Cuesta Invitational this Friday September 30th and Saturday October 1st
