El Monte, Calif. - Golden West Women's Cross Country team took 6th place on Friday at the Rio Hondo College Cross Country Invitational with 153 points. 

Finishing first for the Rustlers and 28th overall was Sophomore, Katharine Pavloff with a time of 21:48 and an average mile of 7:01. Next in for Golden West was Gabby Cotociu finishing the 5K in 22:29 and on her heals, teammate Camille Sifuentes finished in 22:37.

The women travel next to Guasti Regional Park to take place in the Foothill Invitational on September 20th at 9:00am.
