Fresno, Calif. - The women's cross country team was represented by Cynthia Torres at the State Championships in Woodward Park in Fresno on Saturday, November 23. The meet was the culmination of an extremely successful season for Torres.

Torres ran the course last year, and as a freshman she finished in 93rd place with a time of 20:34. Through out the year, Torres proved that her dedication to the sport of running has increased her speed drastically. This year, the sophomore ran the 5k in a time of 19:01, finishing in 20th place in the state.

Congratulations Cynthia on a race well run, and a successful year as the top running Rustler.
