Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West hosted the 27th annual Golden West Invitational at Central Park. GWC women finished 9th among the 18 schools who competed.
The women were led by a stellar performance by sophomore Susana Isidoro who has run a season best of 21:40. Her teammates Rosemary Cabral (25:43.7), Rosario Lopez (25:58.2), Niolette Benedetti (32:58.2), and Alondra Fregoso (35:11.1) crossed the finish line to help finish in 9th place out of 11 places.
Saddleback won the invite having six of their seven runners finish in the top 20.
NEXT: Golden West will travel to the Brubaker Invite at Irvine Park in Orange, CA for a 10am start.
