Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West College women's cross country team placed sixth overall and was led by freshman Emily Nguyen who posted a 22:31.

Meghan McIntrye posted a run time of 24:07 to finish second in GW runners, third was Ashley Ethier (25:30), fourth was Emma Mehus (26:08), and to round it out in the fifth spot was Kirra Salazar (26:18). 

Golden West will travel to the San Deigo Mesa Invite Friday, October 1st at NTC Park in Point Loma.
