Fullerton, Calif. - The Golden West College women's cross country team finished runner-up at the Orange Empire Conference Championships at Clark Regional Park.

The runner-up finish is the team's highest placed finish in over 20 years, they were led by freshman Meghan McIntyre who ran the course in 25:21. With the strong finish, the team qualified for the SoCal Regional Championship at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley on Friday November 5th with a 10am start.
