Fresno, Calif. - Marikay Schwab placed runner-up at the 2022 California Community College Athletic Association Cross Country State Championships this past weekend.

It was a tight race with eventual CCCAA champion Hannah Hartwell from College of the Redwoods claiming the individual title. Schwab finished the race with a season best time of 17:34, while Harrnell won with 17:20.

Schwab finishes the season with a new school record as well as champion titles for the Orange Empire Conference and SoCal Region.
