The Rustlers improve to 4-0 in conference play and secured the #1 seed into the OEC tournament. Golden West beat Riverside 19-13 in their last home conference match of the 2011 season.

Golden West wasted little time setting the tone as a pair of goals from Kevin Oliveira and Bero Rusz put the Rustlers up 2-0 in the first minute of play. Riverside would end up fighting back and tying the game 2-2. But it was more offensive power by the Rustlers taking over the game increasing a first quarter lead to three.

The second quarter opened up scoring for Rustler's 2-meter player Ricardo Guimares who completed a hat trick with just over 3 minutes remaining in the first half increasing the lead to 10-6.

Golden West continued to outscore the Tigers 9 to 7 in the third and fourth quarter which led to a 19-13 victory.

Golden West's Bero Rusz led all goal scorers with six goals, and Kevin Oliveira and Ricardo Guimares each added four for the Rustlers.
