Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West College Men's Cross Country Team placed 18th this past Friday at the Golden West Central Park Invitational. The meet featured some of the top ranked Men's and Women's teams in Southern California. 

Freshman Luke Baird (Cypress HS) was the top runner for the Rustlers finishing the tough 4-mile course in a time of 23:15 good for 82nd place. He was followed by teammates Luis Montes (Ocean View HS) 24:11(123rd), Chris Selevos (Canyon HS) 25:05(155th), Amer Tabban (Cypress HS) 25:24(163rd), Buddy Santillan (Canyon HS) 26:38(176th) and Connor Mooney(Marina HS) 28:26(183rd).
