Pat Frohn

Pat serves as our athletic trainer providing medical services for Men's and Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Water polo, Men’s Basketball, Baseball, Beach volleyball, and Men's and Women's Swim programs. Pat earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University Long Beach in 1992 and received his certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association that same year.

Patrick is an active member of the following professional affiliations: National Athletic Trainers Association since 1992, California Community College Athletic Trainers Association, and the California Athletic Trainers Association.

Kirsten Marony

Kirsten serves as our athletic trainer providing medical services for our Football, Women’s Basketball, Softball, Men's and Women's Track, and Men's Volleyball programs. Kirsten earned her Bachelor's degree from California State University, Fullerton in 2015 before earning her Master's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University of Pennsylvania in 2016.

Kirsten is an active member of the following professional affiliations: National Athletic Trainers Association, California Community College Athletic Trainers Association, and the California Athletic Trainers Association.

Chris Chau

Chris joined Golden West’s athletic training staff in the fall of 2019. Prior to his time at Golden West, Chris worked as an athletic trainer at Compton College, Cerritos College, and Long Beach State. Chris received his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from California State University, Long Beach in 2017. He then earned his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from California Baptist University in 2019.

Chris is an active member of the following professional affiliations: National Athletic Trainers Association, California Community College Athletic Trainers Association, and the California Athletic Trainers Association.
